We are delighted to announce our most exciting YDF to date. We will be hosting this year’s Young Diplomats Forum over 7, days, in 7 countries. Participants will have the unprecedented opportunity to learn and engage about diplomacy of 7 of the world’s leading capitals.
The Covid pandemic has been a global disruption and has halted many projects and events. We decided that this was a chance for us to deliver an even greater forum that we have before. You will be joining over 100 young and aspiring diplomats from over 75 countries covering every region in the world to tackle hot topics of international affairs of 7 countries.
The Young Diplomats Forum (YDF) is an intensive week long programme of practical sessions, workshops, policy exercises and institutional visits delivered by world leading experts.
Set up to recognise, enhance and develop the next generation of diplomats. This community of exceptionally bright and accomplished future leaders will gain further insight, tools and opportunities to engage with key stakeholders at a crucial time in their careers and broaden their connections to influence global leaders.
Our past edition took places in London, Ankara, Mexico City, Zagreb, Riga, Kuala Lumpur and Brussels. The young Diplomats Forum has over 1200 alumni from over 175 countries.

1. Briefing by experts on diplomacy and foreign policy of each country
2. Session with official on diplomacy and foreign policy priorities of each country
3. A Session with Legislators on manifestations and role of parliamentarian diplomacy in each country
4. A Session on Soft Power and Public Diplomacy with Local stakeholders of each country
5. A session with international organisations based in the host country
6. Group Policy developments Presentation on : Climate Change, Tech and Diplomacy, UN Reforms

The virtual experience
We know nothing beats the value of face-to-face gatherings and our past 13 editions, have been a phenomenal success. However the global covid outbreak have enabled us to make this year’s YDF even more accessible.
No matter where you are, you will be able to participate this year’s global YDF without having to leave your home. The week will be full interactive to ensure that you get the very best virtual experience throughout the week.
Our sessions will be fully integrated, which means that you will be immersed into the experience of the YDF that our past delegates have thrived in.
